Kiersten and Brett had an amazing Maryland bay wedding!
The day took place at Top of the Bay in Aberdeen, Maryland, and the ceremony overlooked the beautiful bay! Let me tell you a bit about it.
First, Kiersten and Brett have been together for quite sometime. They met at a local pool where Brett was a lifeguard with Kiersten’s best friend. Many years later, Brett proposed at Susquehanna State Park, where they’d frequent hikes with their cute pup Ziggy.
I was connected to these two through friends of friends of friends! As soon as we met up for their engagement photos, I immediate enjoyed just being around them. Sounds weird, I know, but they were so genuinely nice. Kiersten was so laid back and sweet, Brett was a goof, Ziggy came along and was handsome as can be, and Brett’s sister joined and she was so great! It was the middle of March, we were all cold, but they were such troopers!
Throughout their wedding planning, we continuously chatted and connected, and I learned that they were the deserving winners of a wedding collective giveaway. The Be More Inspired collective (event planner, florist, travel agency, bridal shop, accessory designer) provided Kiersten and Brett with an unforgettable Maryland bay wedding!
Now to the fun stuff. Kiersten and her ladies were pumping amazing tunes when I finally arrived. Hair and make up was being done, fireball was being drank (and go-pro filmed), and the weather was perfect! One of the best moments was when Kiersten’s dad saw her – it was so sweet and made me realize even more how loved she is. The gentlemen were big jokers, which is always good energy, and Brett was given a really nice watch to wear on the big day.
The ceremony was really lovely, too. The officiant, a lifelong friend of Kiersten’s dad, did a spectacular job. I was particularly a fan of the beginning of the ceremony. The officiant had asked Kiersten and Brett a series of questions separately. He then read their answers at the ceremony and it was funny and sentimental. I was laughing and it gave me even more insight into their relationship.
We crushed through some sunset portraits, and then the fun stuff started! Dancing (including a Twenty One Pilots first dance and a Star Wars mask wearing bridal party), cupcakes, great toasts, and delicious food were had!
Enjoy this little bit from their wonderful day!
