Vintage Veils | Wedding Hair & Makeup – Valued Vendor Profile

All photos in this post were taken by me and feature hair & make up by Vintage Veils!

It’s Friday and you know what that means – another valued vendor Feature Friday profile! If you’ve worked with me as a wedding couple, you know that I am happy to make recommendations about other vendors in the area.

The first time I had the chance to work with Vintage Veils was in 2018 at Sarah & Tom’s wedding. Since then, we’ve worked together multiple times, they’ve done hair and make up for friends and have even done my hair and make up when I’ve been a bridesmaid! Also, I hired their team for my own wedding!

Let’s move to the interview!

What is your favorite part about your role as a HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST in regards to weddings?

My favorite part of the beauty process is being able to instill pure confidence into our amazing brides (and their bridesmaids and moms) on what is to be of the most important days of their lives. I love simply making people feel amazing about themselves.

What part of the wedding day is your favorite?

I truly love when the bride and groom get to see each other for the first time. Whether it’s during a first look or that element of surprise when the groom sees the bride walk down the aisle for the first time! Gives me *all the feels* !

How would you describe your business aesthetic?

At Vintage Veils, we are a very diverse brand that swoons for romantic simplicity and individuality. The women we work with have such a variety of styles and we want to make them feel incredible!

What’s the hardest part of the behind the scenes when it comes to Your business?

The hardest part for me is trying to convince women just how beautiful they are with and without the hair & makeup. It’s so important to instill this confidence and we try our absolute best.

WHAT’S ONE TREND YOU ARE FEELING WHEN IT COMES TO 2020 WEDDINGS?

Embracing individuality!! Not everything needs to have a pinterest inspo board – what do you like?! How do you feel?!

I’ve always had an affinity for weddings, romance and simply love. My craft in the beauty industry and working with brides just became a match made in heaven. Not only am I able to do what I love, but I get to marry that with such a beautiful industry and time in a persons life. It just made sense.

who inspires you?
