Georgetown Engagement Session
A few days before this session, I just about tackled Ben at a Caps game. Luckily for us all, I don’t randomly bear-hug strangers on the reg.
So this is a little tale of when my wedding world and my real life collide – I have the pleasure of being pals with Brittany and Ben and I am so excited to capture their wedding festivities this October.
This is a wild guess, but I think I’ve known Brittany for 6 years – maybe/probably longer. She is truly the most spunky, energetic, smiley, and kind person I know. Not only that but she is dedicated, hard-working, and super smart. I know all of this because for a time, Brittany was my coworker. She was like a little drop of sunshine that’d come visit my little cube and make everything just a little bit brighter.
Then there is Ben. I think the first time I really met Ben was at another wedding I photographed (Mike & Erin’s wedding). I remember immediately liking Ben, so that’s always good, right?! He’s funny and easy to talk to and just adores Britt. I recall really appreciating how easygoing Ben was – he was a +1 a wedding in Rhode Island with his (newish) girlfriend. Brittany knew almost everyone at the wedding so she was bopping around from person to person bringing her Brittany energy, and Ben just chilled and let her do her thing.
Also, I’m also pretty sure we ate cookies together the next day. So there’s that.
I’m so thrilled for these two. The more I’ve gotten to know them as individuals and together as a couple, the more their relationship has warmed my heart. They’re really awesome together… AND… we’re about to be neighbors!
This is one of the most stunning, awesome!
