Look at these high school sweethearts!
I attended high school with these two and could not be more thrilled for them and their upcoming marriage. It had been at least a few years since I had seen the two of them, but it was great to spend some time photographing their engagement photos in Montrose Park. During the session – it was really cool to catch up with them; I got to hear about what they’re doing and how they’re doing. I also must have talked about Maverick the vizsla pup a little too much because now they’re sending me dog videos (please keep doing that, it’s amazing). Max was always the funny guy at school, Naina was always super nice, and this still holds true. Together they make a great team.
After many years of dating, Max finally decided it was time to make this thing legit, and planned an entire weekend for Naina’s birthday. Her special surprise was that they were going to go see The Lion King (I’m jealous!), but really, the extra special surprise was that Max was planning to propose. And that he did. Their wedding is set for Jamaica in 2018, which is totally fun.
We planned their engagement session for a particular Saturday evening, and the Monday before, the Caps vs Pens playoff schedule was announced. There would be a game that Saturday evening. Out of professionalism, I didn’t say anything but internally I was like dude I want to watch the game! So man was I thrilled when Max asked if we could move up the time of the session because he wanted to watch the hockey game.
