Jordan and Phillip are getting marrrieeeedd.
But first, their engagement session! We met up for a morning engagement session in Georgetown (I love Georgetown) and it was so lovely out. Fun story though, I was driving down to the waterfront, where I normally park when I’m there, and there were cops everywhere! Then out of nowhere, a truck hauling port-o-potties was in front of me. And in that moment, I realized, OH CRAP… there’s a marathon happening. I started seeing the runners, with their neon clothing and pinned on numbers, and thinking – this session could go a whole different direction than I expected!
BUT it went absolutely swimmingly. Even down where the runners were, we were able to make it look as though we were the only people in Georgetown!
I feel like these two are particularly special and I’ll let Jordan’s words tell you why.
“As for my fiancé and I, we actually met online almost 5 years ago on some random chat site (not an online dating site… similar to chat roulette but no video). We became friends, and after 2 whole years of growing a friendship and starting to develop a relationship we decided to meet, and we instantly fell in love. I’m from the Portland area, so he flew out there for a weekend to meet me, and it was truly a fairytale. Then after 2 years of probably about 15+ trips of us going back and forth to see each other almost every month, I moved here after I graduated college. Which was just September! So I’ve lived in Virginia about 6 months, and he proposed to me in December!”
FEELS LIKE FATE. It’s incredible to me.
