Hello, hello, hello! I’m very excited to share this Waterfront Annapolis Engagement session with you all!
I intended on sharing it last week, but with a destination wedding over the weekend, I was too wrapped up in packing and prepping! So here we are!!
Courtney and Brian are high school sweethearts, and although they didn’t go to my high school, I met Courtney many, many years ago thanks to some mutual friends. I can’t even begin to describe how much great energy these two bring – they’re those type of people who make you smile. They’re comforting and jokesters and endearing and so easy going. We had a great time capturing these images (although I have a bone to pick with the weather… it was a GORGEOUS DAY all day long and as I’m driving to the session it got all overcast and stormy looking! It only brought a few raindrops and some wind, but OY)!
Anyways, almost 10 years ago, Brian asked Courtney to go to senior prom, she said yes, and they’ve been together ever since! This past summer, Brian proposed to Courtney, on her family property, which is the backdrop for this session! It’s the same place her dad proposed to her mom and it’s where they spend a ton of time with her family. So incredibly special!
When we first got chatting about their wedding, Courtney mentioned that the dessert table is one of her biggest priorities and immediately I knew she was speaking my language. I cannot wait for their wedding next Spring – it’ll be such an amazing occasion!
