Snowy Engagement Session in Montgomery County, MD
Before this dreamy, snowy engagement session, I met Katherine and Andrew to chat about their wedding, how they met, what they like to do, how I operate as a wedding photographer, and so much more. Immediately I could tell they were so cute and so much fun. I love the story of how they met – it is a mix of meeting through mutual friends, lots of time passing, food poisoning, and a freezing cold yet adorably romantic day in DC!
While we were chatting, we started talking about engagement sessions. They told me they were thinking of doing a snowy shoot! I was super pumped about this idea. Their wedding is in October 2020, so I knew we’d definitely have the opportunity for a snowy session over the course of the current and next winters. However, I didn’t realize how soon we’d be shooting!
Since we all have day jobs, the weather was conveniently calling for snow on a Saturday! We got in touch once the weather seemed likely to happen and voila! We got the prettiest lil snowy engagement session!
It was quite fun romping around in the snow with them and their cute lil pup Lucy. Big thanks to Katherine’s parents for letting us use their winter wonderland backyard!
