A few weeks ago, I woke up super early to go photograph this great couples engagement session!
We planned on a sunrise engagement session at Loch Raven Reservoir up near Towson. If you know me well, you know that mornings are super tough for me. But I LOVE sunrise sessions, so I was quite chipper to be up and photographing. Also, I had been dog sitting my cousins ginormous labrador, Duke, who helped me get going in the mornings by poking me in the face with his nose. It was cute and simultaneously annoying.
Anyways, Kiersten and Brett are getting married later this year, and as you may or may not know, I include a complimentary engagement session in all of my wedding packages. I find that it helps me learn a lot about the couple and gives me an opportunity to point my camera at them before their big day. They wanted to get their engagement photos done for their save the dates, so we met within two weeks of our initial correspondence!
This couple is really cool! I’m glad I get to be a part of their wedding day – they both have seriously interesting jobs, they brought their cute dog Ziggy with them, Brett’s sister joined us, and their love story is just darling. Alsoooo, we talked about music and music festivals, which you probably know I love!
